EXHILARATING HANDLING
Available Lexus Dynamic Handling coordinates Dynamic Rear Steering, Variable Gear-Ratio Steering and Electronic Power Steering to anticipate and deliver the ideal handling behavior for virtually any situation.
ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION
Standard on all F SPORT models, this system monitors and adjusts the shock absorber setting at each wheel, helping to reduce body lean as you enter and exit turns. In Sport S+ mode, AVS is automatically tightened for more dynamic handling, while the throttle and steering systems are enhanced for increased feel and, with VGRS-equipped models, greater response.
DYNAMIC REAR STEERING
Dynamic Rear Steering can adjust the steering angle of the rear wheels up to two degrees based on vehicle speed, yaw rate and lateral Gs. At high speeds, it turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the front for optimal agility and stability. At low speeds, the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction for precise maneuvering and an even tighter turning circle.
VARIABLE GEAR-RATIO STEERING
This system automatically adjusts the steering angles and response of the front wheels. At low speeds, VGRS reduces the number of turns, lock to lock, for easier maneuvering. At high speeds, the steering-gear ratio is optimized for increased high-speed responsiveness and control.
LIMITED-SLIP DIFFERENTIAL
Available on all F SPORT RWD models, limited-slip rear differential automatically and instantly distributes power to the right and left rear wheels to help improve traction and control during cornering, without interrupting power output.

PERFORMANCE DRIVING MODES
Whether you're looking for added exhilaration or taking a relaxing drive through the neighborhood, Drive Mode Select enables you to make your RC more responsive or efficient with a simple turn of a dial.
SPORT S/S+ MODE
Sport S mode alters the powertrain for faster gear changes and more dynamic throttle mapping and switches the outer ring of the F SPORT's LFA–inspired tachometer to white. The RC F SPORT's Sport S+ mode goes a step further by tightening the suspension and increasing the steering response on all models that feature Lexus Dynamic Handling with Dynamic Rear Steering. In both modes, the transmission's shift points are automatically altered going into and coming out of corners for sharper acceleration.
NORMAL MODE
This mode provides the optimal balance of fuel efficiency, engine performance and the degree of road feel.
ECO MODE
In ECO mode, the throttle response and engine power output are moderated for increased fuel efficiency. Other vehicle systems are also optimized for reduced power consumption.
CUSTOM DRIVE MODE
Exclusive to the F SPORT, Drive Mode Select technology enables you to create a unique profile of a combination of drive mode settings for a more personalized driving experience.

EIGHT-SPEED SPORT DIRECT-SHIFT TRANSMISSION
Too much power? Too much control? No such thing. Own the road in a way that's totally your own with an eight-speed transmission and paddle shifters (RWD only) for optimum control. Delivering lightning-fast upshifts and heart-racing split-second downshifts with rev-matching, the paddle shifters in the RC help you realize the full potential of its 2.0-liter turbocharged or more powerful 3.5-liter V6 engine. And, in the available Sport S/Sport S+ modes, the transmission is so advanced it varies its shifting based on G-forces. By detecting when the RC enters a curve, a lower gear is held throughout for optimal response when accelerating out.

An integrated suite of class-leading standard active safety equipment,* the system is designed to help in certain circumstances, from providing pedestrian alerts to preventing lane drift.
PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM* WITH PEDESTRIAN DETECTION*
This system is engineered to detect a vehicle or pedestrian in the path of your Lexus under certain conditions. Should the system detect a pedestrian or determine a frontal collision is imminent, it’s designed to activate an audible and visual alert while automatically preparing Brake Assist* for increased braking response. If the driver does not brake in time, the system is designed to automatically begin braking before impact and, in some cases, can even brake the vehicle to a stop.
LANE DEPARTURE ALERT* WITH STEERING ASSIST
This system utilizes a high-resolution camera to monitor visible lane markings and determine the vehicle’s position within a lane. If an inadvertent lane departure, or potential departure due to swaying, is detected at speeds above 32 mph, the system attempts to alert the driver with audible and visual warnings and steering-wheel vibrations. If the driver doesn’t respond, Steering Assist takes temporary corrective measures with a slight pull on the steering wheel.
HIGH-SPEED DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL*
When traveling at speeds above 30 mph, this system uses radar and camera technology to help you maintain a preset speed and following distance from the vehicle ahead. If you get closer than the preset distance, the throttle is automatically reduced and the brakes may be applied. As soon as the road ahead clears, your Lexus returns to its preset speed.
INTELLIGENT HIGH-BEAM HEADLAMPS*
To help provide greater visibility for you as well as other drivers, intelligent high-beam headlamps offer added illumination to help keep you focused on the road. When the road ahead is clear, the system defaults to high-beam mode, then temporarily switches to low beams when it senses the headlamps or taillamps of vehicles ahead.
